Ford India's domestic sales rose to 7,909 units in November, up 33 percent from 5,944 units a year earlier. Strong domestic demand for its products was enhanced by exciting festive offers that brought more customers into showrooms.

"We are happy that we continue to register steady sales growth despite persistent market challenges as Indian consumers respond enthusiastically to our smart, fuel-efficient and dependable vehicles," said Vinay Piparsania, executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford India. "At Ford, we strive to provide best-in-class products for our valued customers. This festive season, our smart and exciting offers added to the joys of ownership."
Consumers in India enjoyed special offers on Ford products throughout November, including free insurance, exciting exchange bonus and reduced maintenance costs.
Bringing its lineup of class-leading global vehicles to more consumers across the country, Ford India expanded its dealership network in November to 274 sales and service outlets, covering 146 cities. The expansion is part of Ford's aggressive drive to nearly double its sales and service touch points around mid-decade to 500 outlets.
Going further to empower the communities around its facilities, Ford India launched its first cohesive community outreach initiative in Sanand, Gujarat in November. Aligned with Ford India's vision to improve health, safety and education in communities surrounding its operations, the first phase of the initiative will ensure safe drinking water for nearly 1,500 children between the ages of three and six from 30 Anganwadis, covering 18 villages in Sanand.
