Jaguar has revealed its Jaguar XE, which is based upon the company’s new modular vehicle architecture.
Jaguar has added longer rear overhang, cab-rearward stance and short front overhang which facilitates the driver with low, sporty driving position.
The XE S model is powered by 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine which can provide 340 horsepower and pump 450Nm of torque and can go from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds.
The engine is designed to make the car more fuel efficient and reduce carbon dioxide emission.
On the interior the car has spacious cabin with plenty of head and leg room for a comfortable ride, and it features a new infotainment system that allows the car and the driver to connect with the outside world.
For enhanced entertainment experience Jaguar has added Meridian audio technology in Jaguar XE.
The car is designed using stiff body structure to provide additional level of protection and it also features All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) which works like a low-speed cruise control and provides optimum traction in slippery terrains.
Jaguar Director of Design Ian Callum said: "Our mission was to create an exciting and dynamic design clearly reflecting the XE's positioning as a serious driver's car."
"The cab-rearward proportions and tight packaging achieve that and give the XE the appearance of movement even when it's standing still. It bears a strong family resemblance to the F-TYPE and will stand apart in the crowd."
