Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. has announced a number of senior management changes that will go into effect Jan. 1, 2014.
Eight senior managers -- four directors and four corporate offiicers -- have had their responsibilities changed. They are (with their former responsibilities in parentheses):
1. Tooru Kobayashi, director and executive vice president; head of the Corporate Planning Division; president of Yokohama Business Association Corp. (director and executive vice president, head of the Corporate Planning Division; president of Multiple Business; president of Yokohama Business Association Corp.).
2. Yuji Goto, director and senior managing corporate officer; chief tire production officer; head of the Tire Production Division (director and senior managing corporate officer; president of Tire Business; head of the Tire Production Division).
3. Takao Oishi, director and managing corporate officer; president of Multiple Business (director and managing corporate officer; vice president of Multiple Business; head of the Multiple Business Global Sales & Marketing Division).
4. Hideto Katsuragawa, director and corporate officer; head of the Tire Business Planning Division; head of the Tire Logistics Division (director and corporate officer; head of the Tire Business Planning Division; head of the Tire Overseas Sales & Marketing Div.; head of the Tire Logistics Division).
5. Yasushi Tanaka, managing corporate officer; head of the North America Tire Plant Division (managing corporate officer; assistant to the president of Tire Business; head of the North America Tire Plant Division).
6. Toshiyuki Nishida, managing corporate officer; in charge of multiple business production and technology (managing corporate officer; chief multiple business production and technical officer; head of the Multiple Business Production and Technical Planning Division).
7. Atao Kishi, corporate officer; head of the Commercial Tire Development Division; president of Yokohama Tire Retread Co. Ltd. (corporate officer; head of the Commercial Tire Development Division).
8. Shigeru Nakano, corporate officer; president of LLC Yokohama R.P.Z.; president of LLC Yokohama Russia (corporate officer; president of LLC Yokohama R.P.Z.).
Yokohama also named Sigeru Kagami and Osamu Mikami corporate officers. They head up the Tire Production Technology Division and Tire Overseas Sales & Marketing Division, respectively.
