Dippin' Dots, the number one ice cream for fun has opened its newest store location at Pinebrook Shopping Center.
The store, located at 3950-A Airport Blvd. in Mobile, will celebrate its grand opening this Saturday, April 16 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Customers will receive free Dippin' Dots from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Other activities include an ice cream eating contest at noon and giveaways every 15 minutes.
The Mobile location is the fourth Dippin' Dots store for franchisee Tom Pullen, with others located in Sandestin and Panama City Beach, Fla. Pullen has operated Dippin' Dots locations throughout Florida since 1995.
"For the last 20 years we've enjoyed offering Dippin' Dots at some of Florida's most popular beach destinations. Now we're proud to bring that fun experience to Mobile," says Pullen. "The people of Mobile have given us a warm welcome and we're thrilled to be a part of the community."
The Mobile Dippin' Dots store offers an enormous variety of Dippin' Dots flavors, including top sellers Cookies 'n Cream made with Oreo, Banana Split and Rainbow Ice, as well as new Redberry Sherbet made with Sour Patch Kids. Mix and match your favorites from a selection of up to 30 different Dippin' Dots flavors.
"We offer almost every flavor of Dippin' Dots possible," Pullen says. "Our customers love the variety, and have fun mixing them to create the own flavor combination."
Dippin' Dots has produced and distributed its flash frozen tiny beads of ice cream, yogurt, sherbet and flavored ice products since microbiologist Curt Jones invented the cryogenic process in 1988. Made at the company's production facility in Paducah, Ky., Dippin' Dots distributes its unique frozen products in all 50 states and 11 countries and employs nearly 200 people.
