The first-ever Spring/Summer 2014/2015 edition of Taipei IN Style (TIS), an all-in-one trade fair that aims to promote the Taiwanese fashion and textile industries, is set to take place from April 17 to 19, 2014, in Taipei.
Aiming to serve as a platform to encourage the local textile related businesses and support brand development activities of domestic manufacturers, the catwalk-cum-trade event is expected to attract more than 100 fashion brands.
To be jointly organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Ministry of Economic Affairs, the fair will feature avant-garde collections from an interesting line up of designers belonging to eight different Asian regions.
Among the most famous labels that are gearing up to showcase at the event are Douchanglee (Taiwan), Spy (Hong Kong), Fang Fang (China) and La Mode Desir (Macau).
Other than the fashion shows, the event will also host exhibitions from national and international companies as well as seminars on topics ranging from ‘Great Innovation of Digital Textile Printing’ to ‘Business Gateway to China’.
After the consummation of the forthcoming TIS 2014 episode in April 2014, the Taipei event will follow the twice a year seasonal concepts, such as spring/summer and autumn/winter showcases, of the global fashion capitals like Paris, London, Milan and New York.
