Tosco Office National at Cairns has been named national member of the year by the Office Brands group.
Tosco principal Stephen Gardiner was presented with the award and a cheque for $1000 at the Office Brands 2012 Expo, held in Adelaide last weekend. (Gardiner generously donated the cheque to Variety - The Charity for Children).
The state winners and runners-up in this year's awards were:
• NSW/ACT: Page 5 Office National. Runner-up Macarthur Office Products Depot.
• Queensland: Tosco Office National. Runner-up Pencraft Office National.
• Victoria/Tasmania: Boltons Office National. Runner-up MBA Office National
• Western Australia: Academy Office National. Runner-up Office National Balcatta.
• South Australia/Northern Territory: SBA Office National|. Runner-up Our Town and Country Office National.
Supplier of the year awards
The Office Brands supplier of the year award went to Dynamic Supplies, which also won the gold supply chain excellence award.
ACCO Australia was runner-up but picked up the gold customer service award ahead of Dynamic Supplies.
The silver supply chain excellence award went to General Stationery with Integrex the runner-up.
Cumberland Stationery won the silver customer service award ahead of Integrex.
Hall of fame award
This year's Office Brands Hall of Fame Award was presented to Richard Carpenter of Stationery World Office Products Depot, who has stepped down as a director of the group.
