Safety medical device and software application company Revolutions Medical is exhibiting and demonstrating its RevVac auto-retractable vacuum safety syringe at the MEDICA Conference and Forum which is being held at Dusseldorf, Germany from 14-17 November 2012.
The RevVac syringe, a safety blood drawing device, uses a patented technology to create vacuum which causes the needle to retract into the barrel of the syringe or device after an injection is administered or blood is drawn.
Revolutions Medical chief executive officer and chairman Ron Wheet said in 2010 and 2011, the RevVac syringe was introduced to the world health care market and to select international distributors to gauge preliminary sales interest and to confirm the benefits of the new syringe technology.
"At this year's conference, we have prearranged meetings with several interested international distributors, and we are looking forward to meeting with our current and prospective customers," Wheet added.
The company's contract manufacturer, Yeso-med, will also be joining the company at the show.
