Spanish automobile manufacturer SEAT has revealed its Mii Ecofuel ahead of its debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show that will be held in Switzerland during 05-17 March 2013.
The vehicle is expected to be made available in Ecofuel and the gasoline models, with an engine that can run on both gasoline and compressed natural gas (CNG).
Expected to be powered by the 1L three-cylinder gasoline engine, the vehicle will deliver an output of 68ps (50kW), while the CNG engine would generate an output of 68ps at 6,200rpm and torque of 90nm (66lbft) at 3,000rpm.
The vehicle is expected to have a range of about 240miles (386km) with full CNG tank (11kg), while the gasoline tank having capacity of 10L offers the range of about 140miles (225km).
Features of the vehicle include a fuel level indicator that shows both CNG and gasoline levels in the tank, two CNG tanks located beneath the vehicle, floor to save space.
The company plans to introduce the vehicles in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden and the Czech Republic in its initial stages.
