Sawgrass Technologies Inc. — a Charleston, S.C.-based developer of digital printing technologies — and Seiko Epson Corp. — a Japan-based manufacturer of printers and other information- and imaging-related equipment — have signed a long-term license agreement authorizing Epson to sell Sawgrass dye sublimation inks for printers having carriage widths greater than 42 inches.
Epson's printers and its patented piezo electric print heads are used in the dye sublimation market.
