US automaker Chrysler is planning to unveil the 2013 Dodge Dart GT Model at the upcoming North American International Auto Show to be held during 14-27 January in Detroit, US.
The new model will be powered by a 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir2 four-cylinder engine that will generate an output of about 184hp and 174lbft of torque, while it can be mated either to a six-speed manual or six-speed PowerTech automatic AutoStick transmission.
Being unveiled as a latest model to the 2013 Dodge Dart line-up that includes the Dart SE, SXT, Rallye, Aero and Limited models, the Dart GT comes with a sport suspension with frequency-sensing damping shocks, which will offer enhanced ride and handling attributes.
Features of the new vehicle include ParkView rear backup camera, automatic headlamps, security alarm, dual-zone automatic temperature control and 18-inch aluminum wheels.
Optional features of the vehicle include six-speed push-button start, keyless Enter 'N Go, rain sensing wipers, smart beam headlamps, blind spot monitoring with rear cross path detection, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Garmin Navigation with Sirius XM Travel Link and engine block heater.
The 2013 Dodge Dart is being manufactured at the carmaker's Belvidere Assembly Plant in the US, while the production of new Dart GT is scheduled to start in the second quarter 2013.
