Hyundai as introduced the next generation of i40 Tourer and Saloon, built at the car maker's European R&D headquarters in Rüsselsheim, Germany.
The car will be available in two Euro6-compliant diesel power engine options that can provide 115 PS to 141 PS with improved responsiveness and efficiency.
In order to reduce the emission level and fuel consumption, Hyundai has used alternator management system, Integrated Stop & Go (ISG) along with active front flaps.
The car maker has given i40 a distinctive visual appeal with new hexagonal grille; front bumper, updated design for front and rear lamps, integrated LED fog lamps, along with 16- and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Hyundai has also added Advanced Traction Cornering Control system, which is capable of emulate the behavior of a limited-slip differential during cornering.
For passenger safety Hyundai has used Smart High Beam system capable of monitoring approaching traffic, Speed Limit Identification Function system that displays speed limit alert through TFT display along with Hyundai's navigation technology with enhanced touchscreen functionality.
