Hankook tire factory is located in Chongqing, with a total investment of 954 million dollars, covering an area of about 796 acres (530,000 square meters), mainly in the production of passenger cars and truck and bus tires. The factory is expected to be completed by the end of 2015, when the annual production capacity will reach 11.6 million, among them, the tires of truck and bus will reach 1.6 million. At the same time the annual sales will reach 1 billion dollars. At that appointed time, the annual production of the 3 factories in China will be 42 million.
Hankook Tire entered the China in 1996, already have two production bases in Zhejiang Jiaxing and Jiangsu Huaian, with the annual production capacity of 30 million.
