Investment firm Behrman Capital’s portfolio company, ILC Dover has acquired industrial packaging products and environmental safety products producer in the US, Grayling Industries for an undisclosed sum.
Grayling will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of ILC and the addition of its extensive line of advanced packaging solutions is said to bolster ILC's position in the global pharmaceutical powder containment market.
Behrman Capital managing partner Grant Behrman said the company proposes to pursue a range of opportunities to grow the part of ILC Dover's business.
"We are very pleased to support this strategic acquisition for ILC Dover," Behrman said.
Grayling, which manufactures guardian protective packaging for food, chemical and pharmaceutical dry powder and liquid applications, works with its industrial clients to deliver custom fit liners and other solutions to improve the efficiency of transportation and processing.
