American automaker Ford Motor has announced plans to make the new 2015 Ford Mustang fastback vehicle available across North America during fall.
The new 2015 Mustang, which was unveiled about six months ago, will be made available in three powertrain options paired to six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
New Mustang will be powered by a new 2.3L EcoBoost engine offering over 305hp and 300lbft of torque, and upgraded 5L V8 engine capable of delivering over 420hp and 390lbft along with an improved 3.7L V6 with 300hp and 270lbft of torque.
Ford car marketing manager Steve Ling said, "This car is all-new with enhanced sophistication and craftsmanship, but it still exudes the essence of Mustang that's been honed throughout its history."
Standard features of the new fastback include fully independent front and rear suspension, eight airbags including front, knee and side-impact protection, individual tire pressure monitor, rear view camera system and high-intensity discharge headlamps with signature lighting.
Other features of the vehicle include illuminated glove box, leather-wrapped steering wheel with manual tilt and telescope adjustment, push-button start, SYNC connectivity system with AppLink to control smartphone apps with voice commands.
The vehicle also comes with advanced technology features such as eight-inch touch-screen display and navigation, blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control and collision warning as well as selectable drive modes.
The 2015 Ford Mustang fastback equipped with 3.7L V6 engine will have a price tag of $24,425 in the US.
