Subaru of America has announced that it has identified a location in Camden, New Jersey for its new corporate headquarters.
The present headquarter is based in Cherry Hill, N.J which is four miles away from the new site.
Subaru is planning to bring different departments like sales, marketing, service and administration under one roof, that are presently scattered across three separate sites in southern New Jersey.
According to Subaru, the chosen site is a 250,000 square feet property and will be home to 500 employees.
The movement is now subject to New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) approval and the company expects to move its headquarters by the fourth quarter of 2016.
Subaru of America president Thomas J. Doll said: "We are very excited to be moving this project forward as we seek to bring all of our corporate employees together on one site, in a first class facility.
"This move cements the long-term future of Subaru in the Delaware Valley and we are pleased that after more than 45 years here, we can plan to continue to be a part of the local community we have supported for so long."
