British luxury carmaker Jaguar will unveil its new Project 7 car based on F-TYPE on 12 July 2013 at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed that will be held in the UK.
The vehicle will be powered by Jaguar's 5L V8 Supercharged engine mated to eight speed Quickshift automatic transmission and Electronic Active Differential that generates an output of 550ps, a 55ps increase compared to the F-TYPE V8 S.
Project-7 comes with carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts, large rear diffuser, fixed rear spoiler, side louvers, bonnet vents as well as the carbon fiber and aluminum wing mirrors.
The car is equipped with a lowered windshield, new nose design that incorporates revised air intakes and headlights with gloss black surrounds instead of chrome along with 20inch Blade forged-alloy wheels with carbon fiber inserts.
Interiors of the vehicle feature a single bucket seat for the driver and a helmet holder in place of the passenger seat that carries a custom-designed Project 7 helmet.
Features of the vehicle include quilted racing-style diamond pattern finished doors, carbon fiber inserts on the console, SportShift selector, start-stop button and the steering wheel equipped with machined aluminum paddles.
