South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor will unveil the European variant of the Grand Santa Fe at the upcoming 2013 Geneva Motor Show that will be held in Switzerland during 05-17 March.
The vehicle will be powered by a 2.2L 'R' VGT diesel engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission that generates output of 197ps with carbon emissions of 192g/km and satisfies the Euro5 regulations.
Hyundai Motor Europe senior vice president and COO Allan Rushforth said that the addition of Grand Santa Fe to the Hyundai portfolio will help meet the rising demand for E-segment SUV models in Europe.
"A powerful-yet-efficient engine, European-tuned chassis and the ability to accommodate people and luggage makes Grand Santa Fe the ideal choice for large families," Rushforth said.
The Grand Santa Fe will be made available with six or seven seats and comes with re-shaped grille, fog lamps, front bumper, re-styled rear quarter and bespoke 18inch or 19inch alloy wheels.
Features of the sports utility vehicle (SUV) include three-mode steering system, FLEX STEER, a 4.3inch TFT Supervision Cluster, panoramic sunroof and is offered with cargo space of 607L.
The company claims the SUV to be 10mm taller, 5mm wider, and 225mm longer with a 100mm larger wheelbase compared to its predecessor, which was unveiled at the 2012 New York International Show.
