Woolworths, an Australian retailer, is recalling certain Macro Organic baby food puree varieties due to a packaging fault which has the potential to cause spoilage, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) announced.
The products subject to recall include Macro Organic Lamb and Sweet Potato Puree, Macro Organic Beef with Vegetable and Rice Puree and Macro Organic Chicken with Sweetcorn and Pasta Puree, featuring best before dates 11/SEP/14 and 13/SEP/14, 12/SEP/14 and 13/SEP/14, respectively.
Packed in 120g plastic pouch with a sipper cap, the products were sold from Woolworths Supermarkets, Safeway Food for Less and Flemings Supermarkets across the country.
Customers have been advised not to eat the products and instead return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
