Retail-ready packaging (RRP) provider Polymer Logistics has introduced new Wood Effect plastic crate.
The new crate is said to use the active lock system that enables store colleagues to fold away the crates properly using the ergonomic system.
During transportation, the crate offers better product protection, and is both foldable and stackable to increase truck and store space.
According to the company, the crate offers a significant advantage in terms of hygiene, and will enable retailers to switch away from non descript plastic crates.
Polymer Logistics UK managing director Adrian Dale said the retailers need to find an alternative to the generic plastic crate, if they want to offer their customers fresh look.
"Here at Polymer we believe that this represents a major breakthrough in terms of store enhancements and are confident that if retailers invest in the Wood Effect crate they will see a major uplift in sales," Dale added.
