Brillopak has unveiled new equipment for end-of-line food packaging for chilled and fresh products using long and short runs, that it also plans to showcase at PPMA 2012.
According to the firm, the new C111 pick-and-place is meant to place items into containers, cases and crates while the C211 palletizer accommodates bags and cases into pallets.
The equipments offer fast speeds and changeovers for fresh and chilled products, and are made with reliable components that can operate round the clock, the firm claimed.
The C111 and C211 are equipped with Vision systems, crate de-stackers and box and tray erectors and sealers, along with auto bar-code detection.
Brillopak director David Jahn claimed both the machines offer high speed, compactness and flexibility that is needed by the food packaging segment.
"Both machines can operate as stand-alone units or be incorporated into a fully integrated packing line solution." added Jahn.
