Irish bakery Foods of Athenry has expanded its export business to the UK after securing new deals with upmarket department store Harrods and speciality distributor Cotswold Fayre.
To date, they have won 38 Taste Awards for their unique and innovative range of high quality bakery products.
From January 13, London's Harrods will stock the Foods of Athenry all Great Taste award-winning soda bread cracker range; Multi-Seed plain; Multi-Seed with Cumin; Honeyed Almond & Rosemary; and Cranberry &Hazelnut. So deliciously moreish, these certified gluten and wheat free crackers dispel any myths about 'free-from' food.
Fifteen of the Galway-based bakery's products will be distributed by Cotswold Fayre from mid January; the range includes a selection of single packed bars and cookies, flapjacks, cookie shots and the soda bread toasts. All of the products are gluten and wheat free and suitable for vegetarians; some are also dairy free with many suitable for vegans. And with one in eight people in the UK now choosing a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle - the Foods of Athenry have snack time covered.
The Foods of Athenry rangeis already available in the UK through The Health Store, Tree of Life and independent retailers.

Products available through Cotswold Fayre include their resealable packs ofFlapjack Mini Bites and the very popular Cookie Shots (Blondies and Brownies), their Soda Bread Toasts, and a selection of vegan single packed cookies including flavours such as Lime Coconut, Chocolate Raspberry & Double Chocolate Chunk.
