Jaguar has introduced justDrive, an app technology which is designed to integrate smartphone apps into a single, voice-activated in-car experience.
The app is developed by CloudCar, which has been optimized by Jaguar Land Rover for its InControl platform for both Apple iOS8 and Android phones.
It will integrate popular apps and services, such as Spotify, Twitter, Yelp and others applications.
justDrive uses advanced plain speech recognition technology to enable customers to communicate naturally with their car, and with the application Jaguar drivers will be able to perform voice search, navigation, media, and social interaction.
The navigation feature will also help driver to search closest gas station, they can simply ask justDrive for directions.
Jaguar Land Rover director of research and technology Dr Wolfgang Epple said: "While our aim is to significantly enhance the driving experience through unprecedented levels of connectivity, we also want to reduce driver distraction. So we have worked closely with the CloudCar team to ensure justDrive is 'right for driving."
"Using speech as a key enabler, together with justDrive's simple and clean user interface, means we only show essential information to help create a safe, non-distracting driving environment."
