Clif Bar & Company, a US-based organic foods and drinks producer, has unveiled a Kit’s Organic Fruit + Seed, a nutritious snack bar.
Claimed to be made with all organic fruit and seeds, the snack bar contains no added sugar, zero grams trans-fat, and no partially-hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors or synthetic preservatives.
The new product complements the existing Kit's Organic Fruit + Nut nutritious and organic snack bar.
It comes in Apricot Sesame Seeds, Cherry Pumpkin Seeds, Lemon Vanilla Chia Seeds and Coconut Sesame Seeds flavours, and is available in natural food stores for $1.59 per bar.
Clif Bar & Company owner and co-chief visionary officer Kit Crawford said, "In crafting Kit's Organic Fruit + Seed Bar, we've combined some of my favorite organic fruits and seeds to create delicious new flavors of our own that we can't wait to share with our fans."
The bars are USDA-certified organic, gluten-free, soy free, dairy free and contain 200 calories or less, and are perfect accompaniments to meals or convenient snacks, the company noted.
