Supercharger Network Is Extended by Tesla Motors in Four European Nations

Electric carmaker Tesla Motors has expanded its Supercharger network with new locations connecting across four European countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

All these new newly-energized routes will enable Model S customers to charge their vehicles across the four countries.

New Supercharger locations of the company include Wilnsdorf, Bad Rappenau, Aichstetten and Jettingen in Germany; Lully in Switzerland; St. Anton in Austria; Zevenaar and Oosterhout in the Netherlands.

German Supercharger locations will connect Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich alongside Amsterdam, Zurich, and Innsbruck.

In the Netherlands, the network connects Amsterdam to Cologne and Brussels, and in Switzerland the stations connect Zurich and Geneva.

The company expects to make 50% of the German population to live within 320km of a Supercharger by March-end and 100% by end of the year.

Started in September 2012 in California, the company currently has 81 Supercharger locations worldwide, with 14 locations in Europe.
