American foods supermarket chain Whole Foods Market has recalled Tarte Aux Pommes that was produced and distributed in three Connecticut locations due to an undeclared ingredient.
US Food and Drug Administration said that the six-inch tarte packs were sold in West Hartford Centre, Bishops Corner and Glastonbury.
The tarte was mislabelled as a "Tarte Aux Pomme 10in" and contains almonds that may cause serious allergic reactions to people who are allergic or sensitive to almonds.
All affected products have been removed from the stores after the announcement, FDA said, though no allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported yet.
The notified product was sold between 16 and 28 November 2014. Consumers who have purchased the product can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Recently, Whole Foods Market had recalled Vegan pumpkin pie as it contains walnuts that are not mentioned on the label.
