Recently, Baosteel Central Research Institute held the half year meeting named "one institute to one mill" with the iron mill, steel mill, heavy plate mill, hot rolling mill and cold rolling mill of Baosteel Co., Ltd., reviewing the achievements since the "one institute to one mill" mode has been carried out while jointly exploring how to strengthen the cooperation of production&research and how to improve the on-site competitiveness the next stage.
Since the second half of last year, Baosteel Central Research Institute and Baosteel Co., Ltd. jointly carry forward the innovation of R&D mode"one institute to one mill". On the basis of joint planning and implementing, they bring into play their respective advantages, strengthen the technical support of scientific research for the site, and promote the on-site applications of R&D achievements, which has already obtained remarkable results.
On the level of administration, cross appointment has been implemented in the "one institute to one mill" mode, setting up smooth communication channel and efficient decision platform for effective cooperation of R&D and on-site work, which not only improves the R&D efficiency, but also facilitates the solution of on-site problems.
