On Dec. 19th, Zhanjiang Iron & Steel sintering project was started in full scale. Persons in charge from Zhanjiang Iron & Steel, erection company, supervision company and design institute, etc. Participated in the commencement ceremony.
Zhanjiang Iron & Steel sintering project is equipped with two 550m2 sintering machine, fuel crushing system, mixing system, buring cold system, finished sinter granulation screening system and relevant incorporated utility facilities. New process, new technology , new equipment and new material are applied to reach the international advanced level with excellent quality, reliable operation, low energy consumption, high labour productivity, less environmental pollution and rational engineering investment. This project will be put into production in Aug., 2016, and will provide high quality sinter for two 5050 blast furnaces.
It is said that the structure of main building is reinforced concrete, and 75% of the building is over 20m high, with long construction duration and high safety risk for main structure. The erection, design and supervision companies involved express that in order to guarantee both quality and progress of the project in dry season, collaborative efforts shall be made to build Zhanjiang Iron & Steel sintering project into a premium project so as to ensure to reach the productivity and create profit as scheduled.
