Honda has recalled more vehicles due to issues related to Takata air bags which can explode and release injurious metals in case of a collision.
The recall includes 2003-2005 Honda Accord, 2001-2005 Civic, 2003-2004 Element, 2002-2005 CR-V, 2003-2005 Pilot, 2003-2005 Acura MDX, 2002-2004 Odyssey, 2006 Ridgeline, and 2005 Acura RL.
Just like Toyota, Honda has also made the recall in humid regions where probability for air bag explosion under humid conditions is high.
The recall has been made for 13 states and U.S. territories including Alabama Georgia, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Mississippi.
Honda said that it is not aware about injuries or death regarding the incident, and as part of the recall it has notified dealers, who will fix the problem for free.
