Chung Hung Steel's October Sales up 3.9% From a Month Ago

Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steel re-rolling mills and also the subsidiary of Taiwan's China Steel Corp., has announced its October sales revenue totaled NT$3.21 billion, up 3.9% from a month ago.

It’s learned that the company’s average selling prices in October were lower than the prices in September, causing its October sales revenue only grow slightly.

In October, the company’s shipping volumes increased by 9.8% from a month ago and its capacity utilization increased to 80%.

For the prospect, Chung Hung Steel expected that its production and shipping volumes in November would remain flat from October as it left its November list prices unchanged.
