Obtain Five Year Extension to Vehicle Fleet Contract

Vehicle fleet provider BT Fleet has expanded its vehicle fleet contract with the UK-based integrated energy company EDF Energy for an additional five years.

Under the deal, BT Fleet will be responsible for handling EDF's fleet of 1,000 LCVs and 400 cars until December 2018.

The scope of agreement includes a portfolio of services such as fleet and accident management, fuel provision and cards, as well as service, maintenance and repair of the vehicles.

EDF Energy fleet manager Kevin Boxall said, "As a company, we have very strict health and safety requirements, which extend to our fleet of vehicles, so having BT Fleet as a partner ensures that these robust standards are adhered to."

BT Fleet managing director Dave Bowen said: "The extension of the agreement between BT Fleet and EDF Energy is a further endorsement of the work that we undertake on a daily basis for businesses like EDF Energy who operate specialist, business-critical fleets of vehicles."

Currently, BT Fleet has one of the largest nationwide garage and repair networks in the UK with 65 garages.
