The Perry Brooks Building, located at a critical downtown intersection of tech commerce and Sixth Street's nightlife (Seventh and Brazos), has partnered with FlashPARCS, a new cloud-based parking solution that offers ticketless parking to monthly and guest parking customers. FlashPARCS is the second product by Klever Logic, an award-winningAustin-based parking technology company.
Designed as an all-in-one system, FlashPARCS' Smart Station integrates entry, exit, and pay-on-foot devices into a single, user-friendly touchscreen unit, and offers numerous ways to gain ticketless entry, such as swiping a credit card, entering a cell phone number, or using a smartphone.
"The primary entry point for office users is through the garage. As such, it is important for our tenants to have quick, easy access without the hassle of swiping a card or dealing with an attendant. If we can help our tenants save time, then that is a win for us," said Keith Buchanan, partner at Barton Creek Capital, the ownership group of the Perry Brooks Building. "This is a best-in-class solution that offers a more user-friendly experience, while providing convenience for our tenants, who are primarily from the tech sector. Plus, because FlashPARCS allows us to automate our nightly operations, we can engage repeat parking customers by offering coupons - which can be redeemed at FlashPARCS' Smart Station - to employees and guests of Sixth Street."
While the Smart Station is the beauty of FlashPARCS, the brain resides in FlashPARCS' cloud infrastructure, which allows parking operators to remotely manage their operation from a mobile app. They can adjust pricing, see occupancy of transient and monthly parking customers, and view revenues all in real-time.
William Spielhagen, Austin-area manager for LAZ Parking, who oversees the parking operations at Perry Brooks, had the following praise for FlashPARCS, "I was first introduced to Klever Logic when I oversaw the implementation of Flash Valet, its sister product, at The Driskill Hotel. I had high expectations when they shared that they were developing a new gated parking solution that runs on the same user-friendly, cloud-based platform as Flash Valet. We were eager to install FlashPARCS at Perry Brooks and the results have exceeded my expectations. Using only my iPhone, I'm able to immediately adjust parking rates based on current conditions at the garage."
"The primary focus of our product design process is to create a phenomenal user experience," said Dean Cleaver, CTO of Klever Logic. "FlashPARCS was created with two end users in mind -- the parking customer and the parking operator. For the parking customer, we created an intuitive touch screen that makes entry and exit at parking facilities a breeze. Plus, our Smart Station utilizes the same familiar mechanism to read credit cards as used at gas stations, so cards don't get eaten. For parking operators, we knew from observation that mobile technology could offer crucial advantages, so we created a product that enables them to reduce operational challenges and increase their productivity all from the palm of their hand."
