A paraxylene(PX)plant to be set up in a joint venture between JX Nippon Oil&Energy and SK Global Chemicals is expected to start operations in mid-2014.
“The construction of the plant being set up in Ulsan–South Korea is likely to be completed in May 2014 and commercial production is expected to start in August 2014”,a JX Nippon official told fibre2fashion.
The new PX plant will have a production capacity of 1 million tons/year.
