Chemical company in the Netherlands,LyondellBasell's Spheripol process technology has been selected by Petroliam Nasional Berhad(PETRONAS)for two 300 KTA polypropylene(PP)plants that will be located in Pengerang,Malaysia.
The Spheripol process has been accepted as the polypropylene(PP)process technology to produce a wide range of PP grades.
Key features of the technology include monomer consumption,better product quality,operability and fast start-up and grade changes.
Spheripol's has the capacity of up to 550 KT annually,and the technology helps in the production of polypropylene.
