Kraft Foods UK Has Extended Its Cadbury and Philadelphia Collaboration

Kraft Foods UK has extended its Cadbury and Philadelphia collaboration to include a new snacking product.

Philadelphia with Cadbury Snack features Light Philadelphia blended with Cadbury milk chocolate and mini oat biscuits for dipping.

Kraft said it is hoping to build on the success of its Philadelphia with Cadbury product launched in January, which to date has achieved GBP6.5m (US$10.3m) in retail sales.

Philadelphia with Cadbury Snack packs are priced at GBP0.69, with 15 outers per case.

Philadelphia with Cadbury launches new snacking product

The Philadelphia with Cadbury sensation is getting even more convenient this August, with the launch of an exciting new snacking product.

Philadelphia with Cadbury Snack features cool, creamy, Light Philadelphia blended with Cadbury milk chocolate and mini oaties for dipping, creating a convenient all-in-one sweet treat ideal for snacking in and out of home. The product has been developed following consumer testing^, which rated oaties the number one dipper^ and found snackers' perfect ratio of chocolate to biscuits.

The product brings a new dimension to a highly successful innovation - Philadelphia with Cadbury has already achieved 16.1 per cent penetration**, achieving £6.5 million retail sales value*, with 64 per cent being incremental to the softwhite cheese category**. And with a £3.2 million UK marketing investment for the Philadelphia with Cadbury brand in 2012, including TV advertising, consumers will continue to be reminded about this innovative and intriguing new brand.
