US-based food company General Mills is set to relaunch Big G Monsters cereals range - Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry, Frute Brute and Yummy Mummy - for a limited time.
The five Monsters Cereals will be available at select retailers across the country by the end of this month with full nationwide distribution in early September for a suggested retail price of $2.50 per box.
Under an exclusive agreement, the cereals will be available in retro packaging at Target stores.
Introduced in 1971, Count Chocula cereal is a blend of chocolaty cereal made with whole grain corn and marshmallow shapes.
Franken Berry, which is a pink version of Frankenstein's monster, combines strawberry-flavored cereal made with whole grain corn and colorful marshmallow shapes. Boo Berry was introduced in 1973 and it features blueberry-flavored frosted cereal made with whole grain corn and colorful marshmallow shapes.
Made with whole grain corn, Frute Brute cereal combines fruit-flavored cereal with lime-flavored marshmallows, Yummy Mummy cereal combines fruit-flavored cereal with vanilla-flavored marshmallows.
