Golden Nuts is recalling certain batch of Liban Vert Golden Sultanas as they contain sulphur dioxide, which is not clearly mentioned on the packaging, according to the UK Food Standards Agency.
The recalled product is 200g Liban Vert Golden Sultanas bearing Batch code 160520149 with best before date of 16 May 2015.
In addition to recall, the company will contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will notify their members about the withdrawal.
The company will also display point-of-sale notices in stores that sell the affected product.
Consumption of the recalled product may cause possible health risk in people sensitive to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.
Customers who have bought the recalled product are advised not to consume it and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
