Sales of Skylanders Giants in the US more than doubled the sales of the original Skylanders year-on-year during Christmas.
Analyst Liam Callahan from The NPD Group said:"Skylanders Giants continued to impress with its accessory sales,with character and battle packs generating more than double the unit sales compared the original Skylanders,when looking at this December versus last."
Giants also sold 160 per cent more units at launch in the US compared to the debut of the original Skylanders one year prior.
