US-based establishment Silver Lake Cookie Company has voluntarily recalled Easter Egg Cookies as they may contain egg which is not mentioned in the ingredients.
The recalled products include all lots of 8oz Silver Lake brand Easter Egg Cookies bearing UPC code 0 37695 49817 1.
These products were sold to supermarkets across Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Georgia, Illinois, Connecticut, Pennsylvanian, Massachusetts, and Indiana.
Consumption of the recalled products may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reaction in people allergic or severely sensitive to eggs.
However, no illnesses have been reported associated with the consumption of the recalled products till now.
Customers with egg allergies who have bought the product are advised not to consume and instead dispose it.
