It’s reported that TATA Steel UK Limited has inked a cooperation agreement with Torotrak, UK based company developing and manufacturing infinitely variable transmission systems for all types of vehicles, in a government-backed inventiveness to help bring UK low carbon technologies to market.
MIRA Limited and Productiv Limited are all participate in the program. Other industry partners involve Jaguar Land Rover, Schaeffler and the Manufacturing Technology Centre.
The agreements allow joining companines to benefit from the industrialization expertise provided by the partners as well as enjoy support from grant funding via the Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain Initiative.
