British Automaker Mclaren Teased Track Version of The Mclaren P1 Through a New Video

British automaker McLaren has teased its track version of the McLaren P1 through a new video.

The P1 hybrid supercar is expected to be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show and the full production version is slated for launch later this year.

The car will be powered by 3.8 liter V8 twin turbo engine, and will also feature an electric motor which will be able to produce total output of 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque.

McLaren has built the P1 GTR around the carbon fiber MonoCage chassis of the P1 road-going supercar, which meets FIA load requirements for rollover, and also eliminates the need of a roll cage, reported INAUTONEWS.

McLaren is using front splitter, 80 mm increased front track and additional fittings to make it visually more appealing, it also features 19-inch forged wheels with F1-style centrelock hubs.

According to reports, the interior of the car features serious-looking DTM-style seats and race harnesses long with a digital steering wheel which is a special bit of kit based on the 2008 F1 car's item.
