Australian Convenience Foods,a supplier of ready-to-eat food to wholesale and retail customers including petrol stations,has entered into administration.
Deloitte partners David Lombe,John Greig and Strawbridge have been appointed as administrators,who are seeking potential buyers in order to save the company.
Deloitte spokesman Simon Rushton said there had been a significant interest in acquiring the business and a decision on the company's future is expected within days.
Australian Convenience Foods has seven fresh and frozen food operation sites in five cities:Victoria,Western Australia,South Australia,New South Wales,and Queensland.The company has an annual turnover of A$75m($76.92m)and employs 400 full-time,part-time and casual staff.
