Intel’s Q4 revenue was $13.5bn for operating income of $3.2bn and net income of $2.5bn.
For the full year Intel had revenue of $53.3bn in 2012, 1.2% down on 2011’s $54bn, gross margin of 62.1%; operating income of $14.6bn, and net income of $11bn.
Intel generated $18.9bn cash in 2012 and used $4.8bn to buy back stock.
Desktop revenues
PC revenues were down 6% on last year’s Q4 and sever revenues up 4% on Q4 2011.
Intel expects Q1 income of $12.7bn plus or minus $500m. For 2013 as a whole it expects low single-digit increase in revenue; gross margin of 60% and a capex of $13bn plus or minus $500m.
It is said that Cisco is going to Intel for foundry of Cisco-designed networking chips.
