Jaguar is planning to set up engine plant in India, the local, to meet the market demand. In the past year, Jaguar Land Rover’s performance in emerging markets is very good, so the local plant plan put on the agenda once again.

The news announced before that Jaguar Land Rover is forward to set up a production base as export center, and about 80% of the cars will be used for export. India, which the Tata Group is located in, is likely to become Jaguar Land Rover's third production beside the UK and China. It is reported that Jaguar Land Rover is also considering to setting up a production plant in South America, Brazil.
