Packaging supplier in the US, A&R Box and Packaging has announced the addition of new products to its environmentally catalog of products, as part of its corporate social responsibility.
According to the company, the new products include eco-friendly packaging peanuts such as green biodegradable peanuts and pak natural; as well as food service bags.
The packaging peanuts claimed to ensure better product protection, can be easily recycled and are also healthy for the environment.
A&R also re-uses old paper to make its newsprint, besides packaging peanuts, in a bid to reduce waste, the company said. The company also is working with LK Plastics and carries their environmentally safe plastics.
The company's other environmentally friendly products include medical bags, laboratory bags, hospital bags, general purpose bags, food service bags and freezer bags. Produced from virgin poly carbon materials, all the bags are latex free.
In order to increase initiatives in environmental protection, the company is adding more products to its environmentally safe catalog.
