US based Red Bone Alley Foods is set to invest $3.5m in order to expand its food production operations in Florence County, South Carolina.
This new investment will be used in to establish sauce, marinade and spice production manufacturing operations, and is also expected to create 45 new jobs.
South Carolin Governor Nikki Haley said: "For Red Bone to start out as a restaurant in Florence and come back to South Carolina as a company doing business all around the country is a success story that we can all celebrate.
"Red Bone's decision to expand and create 45 new jobs in its home state will make a real difference in Florence, and we couldn't be more excited to watch this company continue to grow here for many years to come."
Red Bone Alley's new facility is a 15,000ft2 building located at 198 NB Baroody Street in Florence. Earlier the company manufactured sauces, marinades and spices at its facilities in Texas and California.
The company is expected to start hiring new employees this month.
Established in 1993, the Red Bone Alley's brand is currently marketed in more than 5,000 retail locations across all 50 states.
