Chevrolet has teased its 2016 Chevrolet Camaro with new images and details of the car’s design.
The company said that its design team has used complex shapes that are hand and digital sculptured to create a more a leaner, more athletic design for the car.
It features a new aluminum hood, which has been given a smoothly curved sculpted forms accent with sharp creases; making the car look like it has been shrink-wrapped around the engine.
The company has not changed the rear fenders that became a defining feature of the car, but the design update has given the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro a lower and wider look despite having a slightly smaller footprint that its previous generation model.
GM Global Design vice president Ed Welburn said: "The Camaro went to the gym and came out with a lithe, more athletic physique for the sixth generation.
"It's a more expressive evolution of the Camaro's iconic character - and one that complements its leaner size and sharper reflexes."
