Ford Commences Production of Its Flagship 2015 Ford F-150 at Ford Rouge Center in Michigan

Ford has commenced production of its flagship 2015 Ford F-150 at its Ford Rouge Center in Michigan.

Ford claims that the facility is equipped with the latest technology required for the commercial production of the vehicle.

The new F- 150 is powered by 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine which can provide more than 10 million miles of torture, while the vehicle will be more fuel efficient than its predecessor.

Ford has used military-grade aluminum-alloy body and has equipped the vehicle with 360-degree camera view, 400-watt power outlets inside the cab, LED headlights, taillights and sideview mirror spotlights.

Ford president Mark Fields said: "The all-new F-150 is a showcase of innovation and class-leading capability for truck customers.

"It underscores the product excellence and innovation we are delivering in every part of our business as we accelerate our pace of progress toward profitable growth."

The vehicle will be available in 90 markets in 2015 and it's expected to have a December launch in the U.S.
