Motech shuts down polysilicon subsidiary
Motech announced on May 29 a production suspension at its polysilicon subsidiary,AE Polysilicon(AEP).Motech indicated that employees at AEP will be laid off and assets will be sold.
Motech noted that due to severe changes in the solar market,AEP has not been able to reach economies of scale to compete with peers.
