Grundfos is planning to double its production capacity in India by setting up an additional manufacturing unit in Chennai. The Danish pump company will invest Rs230 crores over the next five years, creating 1000 jobs.
With a turnover of Rs318 crores in 2012, Grundfos India is looking to increase this to Rs1000 crores over the next five years. Grundfos has 55 distributors and over 140 dealers across India and is currently in the process of expanding its distributor and dealership network to boost sales.
