Reportedly, China’s Baosteel and Korean auto components maker GNS Automotive planned to launch new auto sheet plant located in Hwaseong city, south of Korea’s industrial hub of Incheon. Meanwhile, the two companies have already signed MOU to build new plant for producing auto sheet mill in Korea in April last year. The new company name will be call as Boa GNS Metal (BGM) with expecting annual steel production capacity of 150,000 tons. Besides, the new project is expected to be completed in April this year. In addition, BGM will focus on auto sheet industry as well as to support of vendors making components for GM Korea.
